16 – 21 June 2024 | Vaud, Switzerland
The Bioinspired Materials Gordon Research Conference stands as a pioneer international scientific conference aimed at advancing the boundaries of science through the presentation of cutting-edge and unpublished research, prioritizing time for discussion after each talk and fostering informal interactions among scientists of all career stages. The program of the event features a diverse array of speakers and discussion leaders from institutions and organizations worldwide, focusing on the latest advancements in the field.
Spanning five days, the conference takes place in a remote location to foster the sense of collaboration and create scientific communities, with the aim of building lasting camaraderie. The conference has designated time for talks, poster sessions from individuals of all career stages, and afternoon free time and communal meals allow for informal networking with leaders in the field.
The focal points of the 2024 meeting are aspects of bio-inspired research ranging from fundamental to application, such as range of building blocks of bioinspired materials, the synthesis of bioinspired materials made from or inspired by these building blocks, their self-assembly, their system-level integration to create functional devices, and the application of bio-inspired materials in different domains. Preceding the main conference, a Gordon Research Seminar will provide graduate students and postdoctoral associates with a platform to present their work to peers.
Applications must be submitted by May 19, 2024.
