7th International School and Conference on Biological Materials Science – Bioinspired Materials 2024

The 7^th BioInspired Materials 2024 will take place from 18 – 20 March 2024 as a hybrid conference in Löwenstein, Germany as a global and interdisciplinary platform for scientists across various disciplines such as biology, chemistry, materials science and engineering, physics, and medicine. The goal is to facilitate discussions on the latest cutting-edge research and to chart the future directions of inquiry in the realm of bioinspired materials. Key themes include the study of hierarchical structures and the properties of complex-shaped biological materials. Another focal point is the application of biological principles to develop adaptive and autonomous functional materials and systems composed of organic and/or inorganic elements.
